Visa-Free Entry Requirements

  • The passport must be valid for at least six more months on the date of entry to Oman. The number of blank pages required in the passport, rules regarding damaged passports, and the requirement for a biometric or machine-readable passport are not specified definitively in the central official source.

The applicant must be outside Oman and must not have another valid visa. The permitted duration of stay per entry is a maximum of three months.   • A sponsored tourist visa can only be issued under the sponsorship of a licensed Omani tourism company. The required documents vary according to the eligibility group to which the applicant belongs and the status of the sponsor.
