CELAC Countries and 2026 Passport Rankings

CELAC is the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, a regional forum that brings together countries from Latin America and the Caribbean. It was created to give the region a shared space for political dialogue, cooperation and coordination on common priorities. The group includes countries from South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, which makes it one of the broadest regional platforms in the Americas. This page uses that country frame for passport comparison while keeping the Passport Reports methodology unchanged.

CELAC does not make every member country identical in travel mobility, because passport access still depends on national documents and bilateral visa policies. Diplomatic relations, regional agreements, economic links and destination rules can produce clear differences between passports within the same forum. A CELAC passport ranking helps make those differences visible in a focused and comparable way. It treats the organization as a regional comparison group, not as a single travel area.

The CELAC ranking view compares only the passports included in the CELAC country list, while the global view keeps each passport’s position in the worldwide index. All figures come from the central Passport Reports records, including visa-free access, visa on arrival, eTA access and visa-required destinations. The ranking order and tie-break logic remain the same as the rest of the site, so the results stay consistent across pages. When central mobility data changes, the CELAC figures on this page update automatically.
