About CARICOM
CARICOM is the Caribbean Community, a regional organization created to support cooperation among Caribbean states and territories. It grew from the Treaty of Chaguaramas and brings together countries with close historical, economic and cultural connections across the Caribbean basin. The community works on coordination in trade, development, foreign policy, social progress and regional resilience. This page uses the CARICOM country frame for passport comparison without changing the Passport Reports methodology.
CARICOM countries share many regional interests, but their passports do not all provide the same level of international mobility. Geography, diplomatic relationships, airline connectivity, economic ties and individual visa policies can all affect how easily citizens travel abroad. A passport ranking for CARICOM countries helps show these differences in a direct and comparable format. It does not measure the political value of the community, but it shows how each passport performs under the same travel access categories.
The CARICOM ranking view compares only the passports in the CARICOM country list, while the global view keeps each passport’s place in the worldwide index. Every number comes from the central Passport Reports records, including visa-free access, visa on arrival, eTA access and visa-required destinations. The same ranking order and tie-break logic remain in place, so the comparison stays consistent with the rest of the site. When the central mobility data changes, the CARICOM figures on this page update automatically.
